Jezabella aka Jezabel Kipp is mesmerizing the world with her beautiful and original style of music.  

A French, Norwegian American, Jezabella is an active Singer, Songwriter, Producer, DJ and Bass-Player. 

Jezabella’s incursion into the world of music began when she was five years old and started piano lessons. When she was 6, her father gave Jezabella her first acoustic guitar and from there on, her life has been a love affair with music. She recalls: 

“Becoming a musician was not a choice, but the only way to share with the world music that I’ve had in my head since I was a child.” 

In a career that has taken her to perform with musicians like The Gypsy Kings, Michael Ray, Dopple Ganger, opening for David Bowie, Midnight Oil, The Three, Steve Pharaon, Vernon Reid and the great Jazz pianist Don Pullen and Clive Stevens, just to name a few. “I jammed with Darryl Jones, the bass player of The Rolling Stones, DJ Spooky, Steve Ray Vaughan, Fernando Sanders who plays with Lou Reed and many other musicians.” 

For many years Jezabella was a self-taught musician until she moved to New York and met extraordinaire drummer JT Lewis. She recalls: “He introduced me to jazz and to the most famous studio musicians of the 90’s. This experience challenged my vocabulary, which led me to study jazz and sound engineering at the popular music schools: Henry Settlement,The New School, and studied classical piano, Movie Scoring and Arrangements at The New York Conservatory of Music”. 

Jezabella recorded her first album "Kip It Naz" with her Band KAIZY with the famous European producer Phil Delire who was Paul McCartney’s sound engineer. She recorded her third Rock/Alternative "Jezabel" Album as a songwriter, guitar-player and lead vocalist at Jimmy Hendrix‘s Electric Lady Studios in New York City with Steve Winwood’s bass player: Karl James and JT Lewis on drums.  

  

Her song “UTOPIA” (from The JazzyBell Project first Album: “Downtown Brooklyn”, was #1 on MP3.com, several times on its first year of release. Her Horace Silver "Song for My Father" arrangements got acclaimed by The San Francisco Time Magazine, Jazz critics Chandler. 

The JazzyBell Project second Album "John Glen's Voyage" was Produced by Shana Twain Producer Gene Gagliardi followed by European Tour 2000/2002. 

The JBP Single "Phoenix" recorded at Odds On Studio, Las Vegas by 6 Time Grammy Award Winner Bonzai James Caruso and mixed by Famous English Producer Steve Prestage in Paris, France in 2015 was used as background for Mike Sam Fashion Shows in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York, Berlin and Paris. 

All JBP music is Distributed Worldwide on her Label Fertility Records, USA. 

  

As a musician Jezabella composed part of the soundtrack for Bill Plympton’s “The Plymptoons” on MTV Cartoon Series and in 2007 got her songs: "Clear as Mud" and "Voyage", on the soundtrack of Independent Feature Movie: "Thicker Than Water": The Vampire Diaries Part 1 - Directed by Phil Messerer, for which she composed background music as well. 

The film has won Best Director/Soundtrack at the B-Bones Festival 2007, and has been nominated in severals other events in 2008. 

Since then, she had play Bass on numerous Albums and Live Gigs/Tours for more than 20+ Artists, Singers and Musicians such as Jesse Johnson, Shawn James, Jamaican Reggae Artist “Gad”, Uncle Earl, Dr Dan Music Show, Hadley, etc…. 

  

Her Fusion/Jazz Band "The JazzyBell Project" new Album "Territory" was up for a Grammy 2018 Nomination in three categories for her Jazz Instrumental Single "Planet Nadia". 

The JazzyBell Project new Single "All Blues" was released Summer 2018 and is on Sale Worldwide on Fertility Records Label. 

  

She also won the Rolling Stones Context Winner Choice Award for her lyrics “Sister White” and the Rock Silver Award at the Music Video Remi Awards at Worldfest Houston in 2002 for her rock song “Shower”.  

  

Her hypnotic music has taken her all over the World, as she loves to perform "Live". 

  

Jezabella is not only a notable musician, but a model and an actress as well. As a model, she posed for the Marvel’s comic books, becoming the new Mary Jane on the Spiderman gold series collection cards, illustrated by Thomas Tompkin. She has also modeled for Estee Lauder, Miller Genuine Draft Campaign and Spin Magazine, among many others and several acting roles last year with Director Konrad Wilk.
